Our Nyland Dress is a vibrant, step hem sleeveless dress crafted from 100% polished cotton. This design has belt loops and comes with two versatile fabric rouleau belt ties; one multi coloured and one self coloured. Side pockets and a v-neck front offer a casual style while pleat detailing at the back provides this asymmetric dress with a flowing silhouette. Pair this summer look with sneakers and statement accessories for a modern, fresh style.
These garments were made in China by Fluid Connection who were established in 2006 and are located in Hangzhou. They have been making garments for us since 2016 and we visit the operation at least two to three times a year. They too come to see us in Melbourne annually to work with our team. The factory that we make our products in is a relatively small operation but quite modern with automated systems for efficiencies and quality.
They are members of Sedex and we chose to operate with them not only for their skills but as they are located close to out fabric and trims suppliers, this reduces transportation impacts, costs and shares other third party suppliers such as dye and print houses.
They are actively working with us on ways to improve the sustainable profiles of our product including shifting to roll packing methods to reduce plastic consumption and replacing conventional sewing threads to recycled materials amongst many other things.
